Euromath 2016

The Cyprus Mathematical Society and the Thales Foundation, in cooperation with the Le-MATH Project Focus Group, the Hellenic Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Society of the South Eastern Europe is organizing the European Student Conference in Mathematics.
    10th grade students  of "Kandidi" secondary school (Ellene Pilpani, Nino Tatenashvili, Khatia Qoridze, Mariam Margebadze, Giorgi zubiashvili, khristo Natchkebia)  communicated mathematics through a threatre play within 5 minutes. They  used their theatrical talent in stimulating the imagination of the public and expressing mathematical ideas (e.g.binary system) to their fellow classmates and to a non-specialist audience.

Bulgaria 2015-16

The project is based on memorandum passed between Ltd “Kandidi” secondary school and "Rayko Tsonchev school of Tourism and Enterpreneurship" in Bulgaria.

Within the framework of the project it was planned to prepare presentations about Bulgaria and Georgia. The project  encouraged diverse students from two different countries to introduce themselves, fulfill their full potential and make friends with one another. Moreover, it gave participants the opportunity to obtain new information, to strengthen their knowledge and exchange their experiences. The official language was English.
